General Public Health Official's Blog

This page is for general public health officials who have responsibility for developing services for all aspects of public health, including HIV, other infectious diseases, sexual health, reproductive health, and chronic disease. Strategies for integrating PrEP services in a manner that strengthens the public health system are explored.  We also discuss what facilities are well suited for PrEP provision, and how PrEP could fit into other services in a synergistic manner.  Specific information about how to identify populations at substantial HIV risk is placed in a separate chapter for HIV Public Health officials.
